Handball

Ghoramari Youth Sports Academy is NEET's handball centre in the Ghoramari area of Sonitpur district, Assam. More than 140 children and youth from the surrounding rural communities receive free, structured handball training here, working with qualified coaches through a year-round training calendar. The academy offers quality sports infrastructure and regular practice that turn raw enthusiasm into dependable skill.

Handball at the academy is not only about technique. Regular practice builds teamwork, leadership, discipline, resilience, and confidence — qualities that carry beyond the court and into school, home, and community life. Talented players are identified and mentored to take part in district, state, and national-level competitions, giving young athletes the exposure that competitive sport demands, while the academy continues to strengthen a vibrant sporting culture across rural communities.
