Volleyball

Nameri Sports Centre is NEET's volleyball centre in the Chariduar area of Sonitpur district, Assam. More than 90 children and youth from the surrounding rural communities receive free, structured volleyball training here, working with qualified coaches through a year-round training calendar. The centre offers quality sports infrastructure and regular practice that turn raw enthusiasm into dependable skill.

Volleyball at the centre is not only about the game. Regular practice builds teamwork, leadership, discipline, resilience, and confidence — qualities that carry beyond the court and into school, home, and community life. Talented players are identified and mentored to take part in district, state, and national-level competitions, giving young athletes the exposure that competitive sport demands, while the centre continues to strengthen a vibrant sporting culture across rural communities.
